Wallpaper for Abduzeedo contest

Abduzeedo started a while ago a new contest for designers. A wallpaper contest, hosted by Media Militia and Abduzeedo.

It is an open theme wallpaper contest so this was a perfect oportunity for me to make another promotional material for www.decor8.ro

The only rule for this contest is that i had to use something from their freebies. When i saw the “hi res wood texture pack” the decision for the theme of this wallpaper was made. As you can see on the decor8 website the wood background fits perfectly with this theme.

If you enjoy it as much as i do , please leave a comment. Maybe one day, when i’ll have the time, i will do a tutorial on how to create something like this.

Below you can see 2 versions of the wallpaper. Fell free to download and use them.

I actually think so too=P I have been looking around the web for some time today, and its really hard to find anything entertaining to read on blogs=] Maybe thats because there are too many of them around =) But this website actually keeps catching my attention=) Great stories, and cool design ^__^. Ill be sure to give it more visits now =]
