New logo for “Umar la Umar”

Umar la Umar logo

Here is my latest work, a logo for an organisation called “Umar la Umar” (shoulder to shoulder). This is a group of freelancers, each with a different specialization, that work different projects in teams. If someone has a project and needs a coder and an SEO specialist, will call for them on the group board and if they all agree on their personal quotas, will start the project.
The logo that i was commissioned to design must have a corporate look but with a playful touch.
Soon I will post a design process overview on this logo.
Keep in touch.

Conference 2010

As I was telling you on twitter, last week i was one of the speakers on the first bi-annual Conference organized by the company i work for. The event was hosted by the Ramada Hotel, in the beautiful city of Sibiu. I am the Web Department Manager so i had to prepare a speech about our achievements in the past year.
I can tell you, it is no easy job to speak in front of an international audience. Other people being nervous, makes you have a hard time also.

It was a decent presentation and i am eager for the next one. Maybe I’ll get used to this … so i hope.

Intentio – a very interesting blog

Intentio is an interesting blog about life. Life that is happening every minute, every second, all around us. It is about one man’s journey through life. It is about questioning all that we take for granted, every day without even thinking about how lucky we are.
Got your attention? Well it surely got mine.

This morning, i woke up with a new idea. What about a pro-bono project? I think I’m mature enough for this step. Especially after so many temptations on starting such a project.
Inspired by the work of Stefan Sagmeister I have decided, starting today, DVisionDesign will be working on the first pro-bono project.
I want to keep you updated, in the upcoming weeks, with the status of the project, pictures, dialogs and thoughts.
So if you are interested in this project follow us on twitter or keep up with us with the RSS system.
